. . . one-month grace period given from the date of closure to rectify the violations and comply with the applicable requirements

The Public Authority for Industry has ordered the closure of five industrial plots over regulatory violations, including four in the Shuwaikh Industrial Area’s Second and Third Zones and one in East Ahmadi.
In separate decisions published in the Official Gazette, the authority cited several violations, including encroachment on state property, failure to operate a closed plot and conducting commercial activity under an expired licence. The authority has given the affected plot holders a one-month grace period from the date of closure to rectify the violations and comply with the applicable requirements.
It warned that failure to address the violations within the specified period would result in stricter measures in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations.
