At the “World Government Summit 2025” Prime Minister His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Al-Abdullah announced Kuwait’s invitation for international companies to open branches to boost economic growth.

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Al-Abdullah, the Prime Minister, announced today, Tuesday that the government has invited international companies to establish branches in Kuwait.

In a speech at the World Government Summit, which is currently taking place in Dubai, His Highness stated that, “Discussions were held with major global economic companies in which the State of Kuwait has a stake, urging them to play a more active role in driving the desired economic renaissance by establishing branches in Kuwait.”

The World Government Summit 2025, commenced on Tuesday in Dubai under the theme of “Foreseeing Future Governments,” with the State of Kuwait participating through a high-ranking official delegation led by, the Prime Minister His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Al-Abdullah.

Now in its 12th edition, the summit will run until next Thursday, bringing together official delegations and experts from around the world to enhance cooperation and intensify efforts in addressing global challenges, with innovation and sustainability as key pillars for the future of governments.

The Kuwaiti delegation accompanying His Highness includes: Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya; Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment, Noura Al-Fassam, and the President of the Civil Service Bureau, Dr. Essam Al-Rabian.

Held annually in Dubai, the World Government Summit has become a premier platform that brings together governments, international organizations, and experts to explore the latest trends in governance, development, and technology, striving to create a more sustainable and prosperous future for all.
