Primary schools adapt summer plans, grant travel leave to staff

Hundreds of primary schools concluded their academic year by allowing their staff to take travel leave, adjusting flight bookings after their summer vacation was rescheduled. This move aimed to engage the community in reducing electricity consumption and promoting energy efficiency in schools, as reported by Al Rai newspaper.

Likewise, on Sunday, middle and high schools will follow a similar procedure, officially marking the end of the academic year and the start of summer vacation for non-examination staff. Concurrently, the second round of exams starts today in all middle schools and concludes tomorrow in 24 specified schools. This initiative by the public education sector aims to promote energy conservation across all educational regions.
