PAM resumes labor support for 3,098 women affected by citizenship revocation

The Public Authority for Manpower announced today the authority will resume payments of national labor support to 3,098 Kuwaiti women whose citizenships were revoked under Article 8 and who meet the eligibility criteria. The money will be deposited into their bank accounts starting Thursday.

The move comes in accordance with Cabinet Resolution No. 420 of 2025, which mandates the continued disbursement of support to Kuwaiti women employed in the private sector despite the withdrawal of their nationality, according to Al-Rai daily.

It also aligns with directives from Acting Prime Minister Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah to uphold fairness and protect the rights of affected female workers.
The Authority confirmed that dues for April will be paid tomorrow, while any retroactive amounts will be included in the May salary.
