PAM reaffirms commitment to provide suitable employment for national workforce
Nasser Al-Mutairi, Acting Deputy Director General of Labor Affairs at the Public Authority for Manpower, reaffirmed Kuwait’s dedication to empowering national youth and providing them with suitable employment opportunities across various sectors.
This initiative aims to enhance their contribution to national development and support the country’s transition toward a knowledge-based and innovation-driven economy, reports Al-Jarida daily.
Speaking on the sidelines of the Islamic Conference of Labor Ministers in Doha, Qatar, Al-Mutairi highlighted the Authority’s focus on qualifying and developing national cadres through cooperation with development partners in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries as well as Arab and Islamic nations.
He noted that these partnerships facilitate expertise exchange and strengthen integration within labor market systems.
Al-Mutairi emphasized that Kuwait’s participation in the conference underscores its commitment to fortifying the Gulf, Arab, and Islamic labor systems, while continuing to play an active role in shaping policies that balance labor market needs with workforce rights, fostering a productive and sustainable work environment.
Concluding his remarks, he stated that the Public Authority for Manpower will continue to implement programs aimed at enhancing the efficiency of Kuwaiti youth, enabling them to compete and lead in both local and regional labor markets.
