PAM bans work in open spaces during peak heat hours

The Public Authority for Manpower has announced that it will begin implementing a decision to ban the employment of workers in open-air areas during the midday hours, starting Saturday, June 1. The ban will be in effect from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm daily until the end of August.

Acting Director General of the Authority Marzouq Al-Otaibi said in a press statement yesterday (Thursday): “The authority’s inspection teams will follow up on the implementation of the decision for three months, and they will conduct surprise inspection campaigns on work sites to detect any violations and record them, and take legal action against violators.”
