The Saudi Ministry of Defense announced on Saturday the arrival of a Pakistani military contingent at King Abdulaziz Air Base, in line with a joint strategic defense agreement between the two countries.
In a statement posted on X, the ministry said the deployment includes fighter jets and support aircraft from the Pakistani Air Force, aimed at strengthening military coordination and operational integration between both sides.
The move forms part of broader efforts by Riyadh and Islamabad to enhance combat readiness and advance joint defense capabilities through shared expertise, training programs, and coordinated exercises.
The ministry underscored that the initiative supports regional and international security and stability, while reflecting the depth of longstanding strategic ties and ongoing military cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
