PAHW receives 113 public buildings to be handed over to govt institutions

The Public Authority for Housing Welfare announced the receipt of 113 public buildings in Al-Mutlaa residential city which have been built keeping in mind the highest standards and are now ready for handing over to relevant government agencies in coordination with citizens’ housing program.

In a press statement, the authority clarified that, in collaboration with the Ministry of Electricity and Water, electricity has been delivered to 102 buildings, and 28 of these buildings have been handed over and are currently in operation.

The statement emphasized that reports circulating on social media and news outlets about the completion of public buildings in the city of Al-Mutlaa by 2040 are inaccurate and present a distorted truth. The authority reaffirmed its commitment to supplying and equipping the city with buildings according to well-defined plans and extended timetables, assuring citizens that essential service buildings are already available in most residential suburbs.

Furthermore, the authority assured that it will continue to increase public buildings, including schools and others, based on the needs of citizens and in alignment with population growth.

This commitment follows the corporation’s established policy in its previous cities and suburbs, ensuring the construction of public buildings even years after citizens have settled, as dictated by the demands of population expansion.

The statement highlighted that the residential city of Al-Mutlaa boasts operational structures such as 20 school buildings, 26 mosques, three health and specialized centers, a fire station, two municipal centers, and two buildings each for the post office, police station, municipality, social units, citizen service, and central market.

The authority assured the ongoing implementation of 27 buildings in recently proposed projects, encompassing health centers, ambulance stations, central markets, police stations, citizen service centers, commercial stores, municipality buildings, social units, development centers, postal buildings, Ministry of Commerce buildings, and gas branches.

The authority reiterated its commitment to providing housing care for citizens and expediting the completion of public buildings for operation as citizens finalize the construction of their housing plots.
