PACI warns ‘My Identity App’ users

The Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI), today, cautioned users of the My Identity app against accepting authentication requests unless they have personally initiated the action.

In a public awareness message posted on its official X account, PACI stressed the importance of verifying the identity of service providers and understanding the reason behind each authentication request.

The authority emphasized that this practice is essential to protect personal information and ensure secure use of the app.
