“PAAET” announces ‘vacancy plan’ for upcoming second semester

The Deanship of Admission and Registration at the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) announced its plan for accepting vacancies in colleges, institutes, and training courses for the second semester of the academic year, 2024-2025. The plan targets applicants holding a high school diploma or its equivalent.

The Acting Dean of Admissions and Registration, Dr. Fawzi Al-Dokhi, announced that applications will open on the afternoon of next Thursday, November 14, and will remain open until the end of Thursday, November 21.

Regarding applicants’ categories, Al-Dokhi explained that applications will be available electronically through the authority’s website for all categories of Kuwaitis, children of Kuwaiti women, and those combining work and study or in non-conflict categories. Meanwhile, applicants on study leave, those with a Kuwaiti treatment decision, and children of diplomats will need to apply manually at the admissions hall in the Admissions Building in Adailiya.

Moreover about the criteria and application procedures, Al-Dokhi added that students with secondary school certificates from government or private Arab schools within Kuwait do not need to have their certificates equated. However, those with certificates from private foreign or bilingual schools in Kuwait, or from schools outside Kuwait, must have their certificates equated at the Admissions Building in Adailiya before completing their application procedures.

Al-Dokhi emphasized that all students who have graduated from or are currently registered with the Authority, Kuwait University, and both foreign and domestic scholarship programs will be blocked from applying. Graduates from these institutions are ineligible to apply, and currently registered students must provide a recent withdrawal confirmation letter to be considered.

Summing up, Al-Dokhi invited all prospective applicants to visit the Deanship of Admission and Registration page on the Authority’s website. There, they can review the eligible categories, specific conditions for each, and the required documents needed for application.
