One dies, one injured at KOC industrial operations accident

The Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) reported an industrial accident on Tuesday morning at its operations area in northern Kuwait.

The accident occurred around 10:00 a.m., injuring two contractor workers. Both men were rushed to the hospital where one succumbed to his injuries, while the condition of the other is reportedly stable, according to Al-Jarida daily.

Despite the tragic incident, KOC emphasized that production operations were unaffected and continued without disruption.

The company’s emergency teams responded immediately, taking all necessary actions to prevent further impact, in line with standard safety procedures.

KOC also stated that an investigation into the cause of the incident has been initiated and reaffirmed its commitment to transparency, ensuring measures are taken to prevent such accidents in the future.
