One Day Baking class reaches 20th batch, employers impressed with the products

The Masterclass Lifestyle Workshops announced that it’s “One Day Baking Session” reached its 20th batch of attendees  Friday afternoon weekly  venue in its in Salmiyah. Positive feedback from employers and sponsors were received and commendations to hold more workshops were requested to accommodate more students.

“My employer could not believe that the baked products I took home were my work from a one day baking class, they were so impressed that in three hours, I was able to acquire new skills and knowledge. They encouraged me to pursue and attend more workshops” commented Lorna Cabuyao, a Filipina household helper. Cabuyao added that the bread she made were so different from the others sold in the local bakeries; “The bread has better texture and the scent of yeast is not present. I tried making Fatayer from the same dough and discovered that hand-crafted and made dough has better results than that of machine produced” stated Cabuyao.

Batool, a Kuwaiti national thanked the master chefs for the patience and knowledge they shared during the classes. “I learned so much from these workshops including new techniques and products. My family always look forward to what I have to bring home after the classes and they loved them. I am  definitely pursuing the classes” added Batool.

Masterclass Lifestyle Workshops provide up to date information and hands-on experience in baking breads and pastries relevant to the local market, it aims on encouraging aspiring bakers and enthusiasts  to discover new skills and enhance their talents through closely supervised sessions by the masterchefs. Classes are held weekly every Friday and Sunday from 9 am till12 noon and 2 pm till 5 pm.
