On International Nurses Day, Sudanese nurses salute Kuwait’s compassion and support

The Sudanese Nurses Association in Kuwait, extends heartfelt gratitude to the State of Kuwait—its government, leadership, and people—for their unwavering support and generosity.

As we celebrate International Nurses Day under the theme “Our Nurses. Our Future.”, we recognize that caring for nurses is not only an investment in health but also a contribution to the strength of economies and societies.

Kuwait has demonstrated profound compassion by providing food, medicine, and shelter to hundreds of thousands of Sudanese affected by the ongoing armed conflict. Moreover, Kuwait has opened its doors to Sudanese nationals, especially nurses, offering them opportunities to serve and contribute to the well-being of the community.

It is truly an honor for us to take part in promoting public health and supporting patients’ welfare. The Sudanese Nurses Association in Kuwait proudly acknowledges the vital role nurses play in healing, supporting, and maintaining the health of individuals and communities. Our chosen theme for this year is: “A Drop of Blood Saves Lives.”

As part of our celebration, we have organized a blood donation campaign, supported wholeheartedly by Sudanese nurses and made possible through the outstanding cooperation of the Central Blood Bank. We extend our sincere thanks to the Central Blood Bank for their continuous collaboration and invaluable support in making this campaign a success.
