FULL TIME: Côte d'Ivoire 1-2 Norway

Norway secured a place in the FIFA World Cup Round of 16 after defeating Côte d’Ivoire 2-1 in a hard-fought Round of 32 clash.
Antonio Nusa gave Norway the lead in the first half before Côte d’Ivoire fought back through Amad Diallo, who scored a spectacular equaliser in the 74th minute to revive his side’s hopes.
However, Erling Haaland proved the difference, netting the winning goal in the 86th minute after being set up by Patrick Berg to restore Norway’s advantage.
Côte d’Ivoire launched a late assault in stoppage time and came close to forcing extra time, but goalkeeper Ørjan Nyland produced a superb diving save in the closing moments to preserve Norway’s lead.
With the victory, Norway advance to the Round of 16, where they will face five-time world champions Brazil.
