Firefighting and marine rescue teams managed to isolate and control a fire that broke out on a yacht at dawn yesterday, Friday.
The Public Relations and Media Department of the Directorate-General of Fire Department stated after a report was received by its Operations Room about the fire on a 70-foot yacht anchored at one of the marinas in Al-Khairan firefighting boats from Al-Muhallab and Al-Shuaiba centers and two teams from Al-Khairan and Al-Zour centers headed to the site of the accident and put out the fire.
The Al-Rai daily without giving more details said no one was injured.
