The World Bank predicted that global economic growth would slow by 2.2 percent by 2030. According to a recent report by the bank, this decline in growth includes both the most developed and developing countries.

The World Bank attributed its negative expectations to the consequences of the Corona pandemic and its impact on the education of children and adolescents and the economy in the long term, in addition to the impact of the Russian-Ukrainian war and the turmoil of international trade, expecting developing economies to record a sharp decline in economic growth by the same amount of 6 percent annually between 2000 and 2010 to 4 percent annually for the remainder of this decade, reports Al-Rai daily quoting Al-Arabiya.net

It is likely that this decline will be more severe in the event of a global financial crisis or economic recession.
