With the countdown to the launch of the global “Winter Wonderland” project in Kuwait in early December, shipments of equipment and toys from the British port of Southampton are expected to reach Kuwait within two weeks.
According to the British website www.yorkpress.co.uk, the shipment of roller coasters (the famous adventure train rails) from the British city of York to Kuwait has begun, in preparation for their installation in the “Winter Wonderland” project in Kuwait, which is currently being prepared in Al Shaab Park.
The site posted two pictures of the roller coasters before they were loaded into a huge ship from the port of the city of Southampton.
The website stated that Events by Cynosure was recently appointed as a major provider of the Winter Wonderland games, which is the first mega entertainment city to be opened in Kuwait.
He pointed out that the company’s chief operating officer, John Lowery, has extensive experience in organizing outdoor events, including his work in the Global Village in Dubai, the International Carnival in Hong Kong, Christmas events in Paris and other global entertainment activities.
Lowery said: “We are pleased to have been chosen as a provider of games and roller coasters for Winter Wonderland, Kuwait, and we look forward to making it one of the largest entertainment cities in the Middle East.”
