The Kuwait Food and Relief Bank had completed the “Winter Clothing” project covering 600 orphans inside the country. Vice Chairman of the Bank’s Board of Directors, Mishaal Al Ansari, said in a statement to a local Arab daily that the project is one of the forms of social solidarity and compassion for all segments of society, especially as it brings joy to orphans and ease the burdens on their families.
Al-Ansari explained that purchase coupons were distributed to guardians for them to be able to buy winter clothes, in addition to providing them monthly financial aid. He noted that the project benefited 150 orphans in 2020, stressing the bank’s constant endeavor to alleviate the suffering of the needy in society.
Furthermore, he pointed out that the bank has an integrated team managing charitable work and receiving requests from needy families through its electronic platforms.
