Is it for obvious reason that we want to look good and achieve a great physique or attain good health condition why we go to the gym? This is the most common question we are asked why we head to gym on daily basis and suffer the grit and nit of carrying heavyweights. But for whatever reason we have going to the gym will always produce positive results.
“It’s impossible that I miss my gym workouts unless schedules are inevitable, conflicting and with limited hours given during prescribed curfew hours the absence from the gym feels my day is incomplete” said Shravan Kumar, an entrepreneur. Going to the gym can be very addictive at the start and becomes habitual along the process, an essential part of daily routine. Going to the gym on daily basis to look good is a physical manifestation of the hard work and passion one dedicates to the workouts, but health benefits are more important. Gym workouts afford better immune system, prevent strokes, decreases cholesterol level, and diminishes dangers of diabetes, cancer, blood pressure and other related cardio vascular disorders. It also improves moods, stops anxiety, reduces stress, prevents depression, improves concentration and develops better sleeping habits. Gym may not be about lifting weights using machines and free weights but the facilities it offers such as cardio machines for people who are not into outdoor walks and strolls, cardio classes to improve muscle strength and weight reduction and trainers to provide adequate guidance and design program workouts based on physical assessments.
“Being a trainer in the gym allows me to share my knowledge and experience to my clients, it can be very taxing and challenging designing programs and getting them to be comfortable with their workout regimens but worth the hard work when you see results” explained Fitness Coach Joseph Anthony. He explained further that having a fit body gives you good self-esteem and confidence, good muscle strength, better posture and better quality of life.
“Going to the gym after work is an activity I look forward to, after a stressful day of dealing with clients, workouts are forms of therapy and stress relief. From initial cardio, weights and abdominal workouts, you somehow come home exhausted but it’s that feeling of fulfillment that you have achieved something to make your life better and healthier. Take the initial step and take time to develop and rushing to achieve your ideal fitness goal often ends in failure” added Sandy Guindal.
