The sewers drainage in Fintas was unable to withstand the wave of rain that swept the country, which led to flooding in a number of streets and squares of Fintas and caused damage to properties of citizens and expats, Al Rai daily.
The Ministry of Works dealt with some of the damage including flooding the streets and seeping into the basements of buildings designated as car parks, in addition to damaging a number of cars parked in the street and the areas opposite to it.
