In the coming days, electricity and water usage are anticipated to reach unprecedented levels due to the extreme temperatures, which may range between 50 and 52 degrees Celsius.

To cope with the increased demand, the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy is utilizing its strategic reserve of 3,793 million imperial gallons, reports Al-Rai daily.

Despite the challenges posed by the scorching weather, the officials and employees responsible for power station operations and maintenance have been working diligently to prevent any emergencies and ensure uninterrupted services for consumers.

Furthermore, meteorologist Fahd Al-Otaibi predicted that the peak temperatures would persist throughout the middle of this week but would gradually decrease by the end of the following month.
