The Kuwaiti Meteorological Department expects the weather to be dusty in some places, especially open areas with chance for rain Sunday morning as clouds will appear overhead until Friday morning, during which winds will blow northwesterly turning to southeasterly later on Saturday.

Today, Thursday, the Head of the Marine Forecasting Department, Yasser Al-Balushi, said that this is due to the advance of an extension of an air depression from the southwest side, accompanied by a warm and humid air mass, reports Al-Rai daily.

Al Balushi added that the weather today will be warm, with northwesterly winds fluctuating light to moderate speeds between 8 and 32 kilometers per hour, and some scattered clouds appear. The expected maximum temperatures will be between 23 and 25 degrees Celsius, and the sea will be light to moderate.

Tonight’s weather, he said, will be cold and partly cloudy, with northwesterly winds turning to light to moderate, with speeds between 6 and 28 kilometers per hour, and the expected minimum temperature between 11 and 13 degrees Celsius. The weather on Friday, he added, will be warm and partly cloudy.

He indicated the weather Friday night will be cold, with light to moderate southeasterly winds blowing with speeds between 6 and 30 kilometers per hour, and some scattered clouds will appear giving chance for light fog over some areas. The expected minimum temperature is between 12 and 14 degrees Celsius, and the sea will be condition will be moderate.

On Saturday, Al-Balushi said it will be warm with light to moderate southeasterly winds blowing becoming active at intervals between 15 and 50 kilometers per hour, causing dust to rise; while on Saturday night it will be cold, with light to moderate southeasterly winds becoming active at intervals blowing at a speed of between 15 and 45 kilometers per hour.
