The Farwaniya security patrolmen are looking for an unidentified motorist, believed to be a drug addict, who allegedly abandoned his car and escaped, fearing arrest.
A security source told Al-Anba the Farwaniya security patrols were on a regular inspection round and when the suspect saw the police vehicle, he changed direction and was seen driving on an open ground.
When the police patrol followed him, he abandoned the car and escaped. In the car police found the man’s ID and it showed the man is Syrian. In the car police also found drugs.
The man is reportedly wanted by law in several cases.
