The Wafra Real Estate Company is sponsoring the “Gulf Green Cities and Buildings” conference, with scientific support from the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences, to be held on 25-26 January. According to Al Rai daily, the aim is to stress the involvement of society and companies in conferences, forums and educational programs related to sustainability and the importance of supporting the development of a green environment.
The company’s director of the public relations, Sheikha Al-Fadala, said that it requires a qualitative shift in the behavior and concepts of the public about the green environment, through more awareness and contribution to formulating solutions in reducing the repercussions of climate change and environmental crisis. She added that company has effective and successful steps in the field of green construction, which work to provide energy and sustainability to ensure comprehensive and sustainable development.
