The Ministry of Education has asked the Civil Service Commission to approve sending the ministry’s employees with visual impairments on scholarships and study leaves to complete their higher studies outside the country, like their colleagues working in various sectors and departments, in a manner that does not contradict the nature of their work, while fully preserving their material and functional rights.

Informed sources told Al-Qabas daily the proposal submitted by the Kuwaiti Association for the Blind and approved by the Ministry of Education will have a positive impact on the educational process for people with visual disabilities, and encourage people of determination to prove their role in the Kuwaiti society.

The sources confirmed that the proposal, after being studied by the Ministry of Education and the CSC, decided to present it to the Council for final approval.

On the other hand, the Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Development and Activities, Dr. Ghanem Al-Sulaimani, spoke of the importance o as it is a shift in traditional methods to electronic preservation systems.

He said during the forum held by Habiba Bint Shareq Al-Ansaria High School that digital transformation has become necessary to solve many contemporary problems, the most important of which is the elimination of routine in the field of teaching and learning, as well as the elimination of problems in teaching curricula and the difficulty of retrieval.

He stated that the technological progress is the key to finding permanent solutions to develop the educational process, such as preparing the student for the labor market and enhancing the learner’s competence, and this is what the Ministry of Education is keen on about its development plan by working to provide educational technology to the field and enrich its effectiveness through these forums.
