The series of violations of rules and regulations of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) continues at the Directorate-General of Civil Aviation to achieve personal interests at the expense of the public interests.

Reliable sources in the administration told Al-Qabas daily that decisions were issued to transfer and assign four managers in different departments without legal and administrative justification.

The sources explained that these decisions were issued “under the pretext of the need to work on that, but in fact the matter came after the mediation of influential people.”

The decisions — of which Al-Qabas obtained a copy — included deputizing and transferring the four managers while ignoring the grievances of their colleagues, who asserted that they are the most worthy, deserving and most efficient.

The sources told the daily that these decisions were issued on January 11, 2023, and after that a circular was issued on the 22nd of the same month, calling on all sectors and departments “in the event that vacancies are available in supervisory positions, to officially announce the vacancy and the conditions for filling these positions, and to form an internal committee by the head of the sector to conduct interviews” personality, submitting an approved report to the administrative sector by the director of the department and the head of the sector on the results of the interviews, selecting the appropriate employee for any position, and finally ensuring that all the requirements and conditions of the Civil Service Commission are fulfilled for occupying supervisory positions.
