MEED magazine stated that the Gulf projects index rose by 0.4% during the period from December 9, 2022 to January 13, 2023, and there were $3.2 trillion worth of projects planned or under implementation in the Gulf countries (including Iraq and Iran) at the end of that period, and it was 82% of it, or the equivalent of $2.6 trillion, goes to the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
In Kuwait, the value of project contracts declined slightly from $198 billion to $197 billion, by more than 0.5% during the study period. The increase helped reduce the decline recorded in the Gulf countries during the past year to 3.9 percent, reports Al-Anba daily.
