Ministry of Health announced that a letter from the manufacturer of the vaccine, Oxford-AstraZeneca, stated that the transmission of the remaining results of the tests for the current shipment in Kuwait had been postponed to be delivered on June 8, 2021, Al-Rai daily reported.

The Ministry reassured that there are no negative repercussions of postponing the second dose of the vaccine, noting that it is still in constant contact with AstraZeneca, the manufacturer, and the local agent.

The Ministry of Health indicated that it will start vaccinating the target group with the second dose of the Oxford vaccine, as soon as the remaining results of the required tests arrive in a manner that guarantees the health and safety of the vaccine recipients.
