With the start of the second semester at Kuwait University, the phenomenon of selling textbooks spread on social networking sites with prices exceeding the prices offered by the student library at the university.
During this period, some students took advantage of the demand for used textbooks that were used in previous semesters, while specifying the mechanism of payment and delivery together, reports Al-Jarida daily.
This phenomenon has spread widely on the social media during the past two days with the start of the study, with students deluding the difficulty of finding the required books in external libraries, so that many students rush to the purchase process before the quantity offered runs out.
On the other hand, the student library at the university fought this phenomenon today, by providing all books, in addition to making a discount of up to 60% for all students, while offering them free of charge to students with special needs at the Kuwait University.
