On this occasion, the US Ambassador to Kuwait, Alina Romanowski, praised the bilateral ties between both countries, describing them as “very good”, and referred to the call made by US President Joe Biden to His Highness the Amir and the visit of the US secretaries of Foreign Affairs and Defense to Kuwait, who met with HH the Amir and senior Kuwaiti officials to discuss relations between both countries.
She added, today the US and Kuwait celebrate the 60th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the two countries, and “I feel proud to be here, specifically at the towers, which is a simple symbol that represents Kuwait, the present, the future and the past.”
She told Al-Qabas daily, “We seek to improve and develop our bilateral relations between the two countries, and we look forward to the start of the 61st anniversary of the establishment of bilateral relations.”
