The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) has advised business owners not to visit PAM or any labor departments on the issue of renewing residence permits of non-graduate expatriates who are 60 years and above, Al Anbaa reported.
Sources told the daily the decision is in the hands of the Minister of Commerce and Industry and expatriates who fall under this category have to wait until the decision is amended or canceled.
In response to a query from Al-Anba on the amendment of the decision, the source stated the PAM board of directors had approved the amendment, but needs the approval of the Minister.
