On this special and symbolic occasion of Kuwait’s National and Liberation Days, I wish from the bottom of my heart to His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of the State of Kuwait and His Highness Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, as well as to the friendly and hospitable people of Kuwait, further progress, success and development. May Kuwait always prosper and grow further towards unexplored horizons.
It is an open secret that re-establishment of the state’s independence is always a hard fight. This year on 24 August, my country Ukraine also celebrates the 30th anniversary of re-establishment of its independence. It is always a heroic act to struggle for your freedom. So, this is also a sad day when Kuwaitis pay respect with silent prayers of thanks to the martyrs for their sacrifices.
With great joy and pride I offer my heartfelt congratulations on the anniversary of Kuwait Liberation Day. May the spirit of this day give you the courage to chase your aspirations.
