I would like to extend my congratulations to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah, alongside the Crown Prince, and the government and people of Kuwait on National and Liberation days.
I have spent the past four years in Kuwait, learning about this wonderful country and have enjoyed meeting Kuwaitis from different families and backgrounds.
While these past two years have been difficult for many of us, I look forward to reuniting with my Kuwaiti friends and neighbors and for the return of normal life as more of us get vaccinated and do our part in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
I wish you all a joyous, memorable, and safe celebration with your families and loved ones, and I look forward to meeting many of you once again in the near future.
