A plane upon landing collided with another plane that was preparing to take off at Newark Liberty International Airport in the US state of New Jersey, but the accident did not result in casualties, according to the authorities.

The two planes belonged to the United States Airlines, which confirmed that during the movement of a plane that was not carrying passengers and was on its way to park at gate C125, collided with another plane that was preparing to take off at gate C126.

The company stated that the collision concentrated in the wings of the two planes, and that the crew of the plane that was preparing to take off safely evacuated all passengers and booked other flights, while the airport authority’s rescue teams were able to remove the tip of the damaged wing, and they moved it away from the plane as part of the investigation.
