Senior government officials who were involved in irregularities have reportedly refused to go into retirement or resign.
A local Arabic daily quoting sources said “after the supervisory reports proved that they were unproductive,” in addition to committing serious administrative abuses and violations, especially with regard to appointments based on parliamentary approvals and interventions before the dissolution of the National Assembly in contravention of the the rules and regulations.
The sources pointed out that based on these violations and the refusal to submit resignations, these leaders were forced to go on leave, until decisions are issued against them, whether referring them for investigation or retirement, and others have been assigned to carry out their duties.
