Personnel from the General Department for Drugs Control (GDDC) have foiled the attempt of two Asian to smuggle into the country 50 kilos of chemical derivatives, 20 grams of hashish and two grams of heroin.
The Public Relations and Security Media Department of the Interior Ministry told Al-Rai after the authorities received a tip-off from a police agent, securitymen got a search and arrest from the Public Prosecution and caught one of the men red-handed.
The security authorities then raided the home of the suspects and confiscated the drugs. During interrogation the men have admitted to trafficking in drugs.
