The General Administration of Public Relations and Security Media Department at the Ministry of Interior stated the Border Security Sector have arrested two residents who were staying illegal in the country and have seized from them 375 Captagon pills.
The Al-Anba daily said the men were nabbed in a suburb of the Jahra Governorate. The main suspect who is believed to be an Arab is said to have escaped from the police but the hunt for him is underway. He was allegedly watching from a distance and escaped when the police arrested his partners.
The two arrested men are said to have confessed to trafficking in drugs. Police have seized from the duo a sum of money believed to be proceeds from the sale of drugs.
