The Criminal Court has sentenced a citizen to 3 years in prison with hard labor, in the case of insulting Saudi Arabia through the social networking site “Twitter”.
The Public Prosecution had charged the accused citing Article 4 of Law 30/1970 regarding foreign state security crimes, on the background of his tweets that included insulting country, and exposing Kuwait to severing official relations, reports a local Arabic daily.
