The Tamil Nadu Muslim Association (TMA), a subsidiary of Indian Muslim Association (IMA)- Kuwait conducted the “Marhaban Ya Ramadan” Welcome Ramadan program in the Awqaf Auditorium, on 16th March for the Tamil speaking diaspora living in Kuwait.

The program started with a beautiful recitation and explanation of the Holy Quranic verses by Br. Mohammed Azharuddin, followed by the welcome address by Br. Moideen with an introduction of the works carried out by TMA in Kuwait.

A speech was then delivered by Janab Shamvil Pervez, President of IMA, highlighting the objective of welcome Ramadan and the message of Ramadan.

Followed by a skit demonstrated by the children’s team regarding the Manners and etiquettes to be followed in Ramadan organized by ladies wing of TMA.

A “Distinguished personality of Tamil community” award was then presented to Br. Ameer Ahamed Ex. President of JMC Alumni Association.

As a final activity of the program, Br. Mohamed Faiyaz, TMA vice president introduced an Emaan Tracker app with a personalized Ramadan tracker for the audiences to utilize it to fill their daily activities in Ramadan as a checklist to review their reports and records as a introspection to check and improve their performance in the Blessed month of Ramadan.

A vote of thanks was then conveyed by Br. Shahul Hameed thanking the participants and the coordinators of the program and a special appreciation and thanks to Al Faysal Bakery Sweets for sponsoring the Snack box.
