The Environment Public Authority (EPA) will, as of January 2, 2022, examine, audit and look into conformity procedures for all chemicals and waste exports at the Kuwaiti customs ports.
An official source told Al-Anba that the decision comes in implementation of the EPA Law and to tighten control over exports and limit manipulation of the country’s wealth, especially smuggling diesel, kerosene, petroleum derivatives and others under other different names, or mixing them with chemical products or waste.
