A holiday has been declared for the occasion of Isra and Miraj for the Hijri year 1442, according to a circular released by the Civil Service Bureau.
Work will be suspended in ministries, government agencies, bodies and public institutions on Thursday, 11 March, as it is considered an official holiday. Businesses will resume on Sunday, 14 March.
However, managements of some sectors of special work nature are entitled to determine how to observe the holiday according to their conditions and with consideration to the public interest.
