Astronomer Adel Al-Saadoun said that the Thuraya season begins tomorrow, Thursday, coinciding with the entry of the summer season, which is characterized by high temperatures.

Al-Saadoun told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Wednesday, that Al-Thuraya has three stages of the moon and the number of days of each stage is 13.

He mentioned that the third stage is called (the Pleiades), which starts from the 7th of next June until the 19th of the same month, in which the star of the Pleiades rises at dawn.

He indicated that the first and second phases are two stars in Aries, and the third is the Pleiades star located in Taurus.

He pointed out during the Thuraya season the average high temperatures during mid-day range between 38 and 41 degrees Celsius, while the lowest average temperature recorded is between 24 and 30 degrees Celsius.

He indicated the country is dominated by northwesterly moderate-speed winds, sometimes active, and their speed increases to more than 40 kilometers per hour, causing dust storms called Al-Bareh Al-Saghir winds.
