The Criminal Security Sector, represented by the General Department for Drug Control (Local Control Department), was able to seize a gang of three citizens in the areas of Qortuba, Saad Al-Abdullah and Doha, in possession of a large amount of drugs that varied between hashish, Lyrica pills, Chemical and Shabu, in addition to sums of money believed to be proceeds of sale.
After their arrested they acknowledged that the contraband belonged to them and that they were trafficking and consuming drugs following which they were referred to the General Department for Drugs and Alcohol Control, reports Al-Rai daily.
The seizures included 5 kilograms of hashish, 15,000 Lyrica tablets, a kilo of chemical, and 100 grams of shabu.
