Personnel from the Farwaniya Governorate Criminal Investigation Department raided an apartment in Khaitan and took into custody three men for manufacturing alcohol.
The Al-Anba daily said police have seized from the three men 100 barrels containing materials, 24 bottles of booze ready for sale and liquor manufacturing equipment.
The bootleggers and the contraband have been referred to the General Department for Drugs and Alcohol Control.
