Health Minister Sheikh Dr. Basil Al-Sabah announced that if AstraZeneca shipments are delayed or not approved, the ministry would let the recipients of the first dose of Astrazeneca vaccine choose if they want to take Pfizer for their second dose since there are countries that have adopted it, Al Qabas reported.
Minister Al-Sabah said in an interview with Kuwait TV yesterday that all Gulf countries are suffering from the delayed shipment of the Oxford vaccine, not just Kuwait.
