The Egyptian Public Prosecution has put behind bars 3 men after investigations with them revealed they were active in antiquities trade after finding some artifacts in their possession.

Egyptian security sources said the three suspects were arrested while attempting to steal a Pharaonic statue of Ramses II from Aswan (the far south of Egypt), while trying to lift the statue from its place, reports Al-Rai daily.
