Scientists in the United States are testing a drug that will help you lose weight without changing your diet or exercise.
The “Sky News Arabia” quoted the British newspaper “The Sun” that an early version of the treatment is being tried in Texas, where the drug is currently injected into mice that are fed the worst diets full of fats, calories and sugar, reports Al-Rai daily.
The results showed that «the mice did not gain weight and decreased the rates of health problems, such as heart disease, strokes and fatty liver disease».
According to the newspaper, “scientists are now close to putting the drug on the market and hope to conduct human trials this year.”
“We did not see any negative effects. Liver and heart function were normal after taking the drug twice a week,” said developers of the drug from the University of Texas.
