Weather forecaster at the Meteorological Department Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi expects the temperatures to drop noticeably as of next Saturday and said the maximum will range between 34 and 44 degrees Celsius.

Al-Qarawi told Al-Rai despite the emergence of Suhail (star), which heralds the refraction of temperature in the Arabian Peninsula, the maximum temperature in Kuwait is still high, ranging between 48 and 49 degrees Celsius, because the region is affected by what he called ‘thermal heights’ which usually disintegrate at the end of August.

Of the rainy season, he said, “It is still early to talk about this subject.”
