The Director of the Meteorology Department of the General Administration of Civil Aviation, Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi, pointed out that the chances of rain will decrease starting today with the wind shifting to northwest, making the weather dry and very hot, with the expected temperature rising again to 50 degrees Celsius at the weekend.
Al-Qarawi told Al-Qabas daily, the chances of rain are limited and to some areas depending on the rapid formation of the clouds which will quickly fade, accompanied by variable winds, with speeds of up to 60 kilometers per hour/
He revealed the summer rains are due to the high relative humidity and temperature differences between the earth’s surface and the upper layers of the atmosphere, and the winds forming cumulus thunderstorm clouds.
