The Jahra Investigation officers closed the file of a case involving the shooting of a high school student at the front of his damaged vehicle when they apprehended a young man of unspecified nationality. Al-Anbaa reported that the weapon used in the incident was not licensed, and that the suspect is being referred to the Public Prosecution on charges of attempted murder, possession of an unlicensed firearm and its use in a populated area endangering the lives of others.

According to the report, the Ministry of Interior operations received a complaint from a high school student that an unidentified person shot the victim while he was about to enter the committee to take the mid-year exams in Saad Al-Abdullah.

The authorities immediately carried out the investigations, with the help of surveillance cameras and eyewitnesses, and the suspect’s vehicle was identified and seized inside his house in Saad Al-Abdullah, where he confessed to the crime.
